CDC Uganda Country Director visits TASO Soroti Regional Mechanism

In February TASO's flagship project in Soroti hosted the CDC Country Director - Dr. Lisa Nelson. Under the new regionalisation strategy, TASO is in charge of PEPFAR Implementing Partners within the Teso Region. 

During her visit, Dr. Nelson visited the TASO Soroti Center of Excellence, the Soroti Regional Project, Soroti Referral Hospital, SORUDA, Kachumbala Health Center III and also met with district Officials in the area. She commended their work and urged them to keep up the great performance. 

During a performance review it was noted that 3 of the best performing districts in 2018 were from TASO Soroti Region.
